Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. She was most recently seen as Carlota on the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American singer and actress is also a stand-up comedian. Her most notable role was as a member of the NBC sketch-comedy series Saturday Night Live, from the year 1996 to 2002. Since then, she has appeared in as sitcoms as ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her acting career at Northwestern University. She initially trained in voice but later switched to theatre studies after she became involved in students' improv comedy groups. She carried that same spirit into her roles as Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character on Suburgatory or Karen Grisham the agent on Lady Dynamite.
