Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White on The AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with performing in Preparatory School prior to moving to Ohio with her family in the later in the 1970s. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and pursued a degree in theater through Northwestern University. Anna worked at the theatre in the Chicago area for a few years, before attempting her luck in TV and films. Anna's first big role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. In the early 90s she was a frequent guest in TV and film including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler for the show Breaking Bad. Sully is the Deadwood film, and a few other movies have also featured her. Gunn did not stop at the stage in the David Schwimmer directed production of Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the show Numbered Day, which is a podcast comprised of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad is often built around Walter White's relationships with Skyler, his spouse. Skyler. Their uneasy bond and eventual demise reflect the tragic end to Walter White.
